Festival Currency for Beverage Stallholders
| What is Festival Currency? | Caves Coastal’s Beer, Food & Wine Festival uses Festival Currency to speed up service and reduce cash handling at vendor stalls. All beverages purchased at the festival must be paid for using Festival Currency. |
| How does it work? | Festival Currency wristbands can be topped up at currency stations or by roaming sellers. Customers can check their balance or make purchases by scanning their wristband at your stall or any currency booth. |
| How does it benefit you? | Sales insights – Track what’s selling and when, with breakdowns by hour and day Higher customer spend (25-40%) – Guests tend to spend more when using prepaid currency Live sales tracking – View real-time sales data throughout the event No cash handling – Reduces risk of theft and simplifies operations Faster service – Tap to pay in 3-4 seconds, reducing wait times and queues |
| How do I collect my takings? | Vendors will receive 75% of their total sales, paid via bank transfer after the event. Caves Coastal retains a 25% commission on all beverage transactions. If preferred, you may request a cash payout on the day – please let us know in advance. |
